He says it sounds unbelievable after 65 years of independence but in High School in Lagbahli village in Lanjigarh block of Kalahandi district mid day meal is served separately to students. My name is Naresh Bunkar. I am from Jan Van adhikar Samiti. Today I am visiting a village for Baiga adivasis called Khairahapara in Pandaria block of Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh. The Baiga adivasis tell me that they used to live in a village on the hill called Terapani when forest department threw them out from there in 2001. In the new villave they have no school, no anganwadi and get no kerosene oil. They have applied for land deeds in 2009 but not got the deeds yet.
