No rains yet, farmers are a worried lot in Dantewada

NREGA non payment: NHRC issues notice to state

Sanjay Sharma from Surguja in Chhattisgarh says National Human Rights Commission has issued a notice to state on the case of Somar Sai. He reminds us that when the case was first raised in Swara Govt of India had sent a notice to state but because the letter had a misspelling the Govt had replied saying there is no one with that name. Kanwad yatra started by two has many followers today

Villagers catch Anganwadi worker selling food in black

Shankarlal from Lalitpur district in Uttar Pradesh is telling us that few alert villagers in his village caught the in-charge of local Anganwadi selling food meant for children and women to black marketeers. He says this anganwadi center was opened few months back and the in-change gave less food to children and women. Lack of connecting road obstructs development of village
